Currant Catahoulas

Hi, my name is Andrew Currant and my wife Tash and I are certified breeders of Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs.  Catahoulas originated from Catahoula Parish in Louisiana and are well known for their gentle nature and intelligence.  I bought my two Catahoulas, C1 (brindle) and C2 (black and white) in 2003.  They have had a rich life living on my sugar cane farm located at Norwell, Gold Coast, Queensland.  They follow me on or behind the quad when I’m out on the farm and I take them pig hunting as often as I can manage it.  They have caught many boars in their time and are best fit at bailing instead of hanging.  They will hang on occasion but prefer to bail and are best suited in this role.

We frequently have litters so feel free to buy straight from the litter or reserve one from an upcoming litter.  As of October 2006 C1 is pregnant and we are currently taking orders for this.

I can be contacted at 0414 458 175 or email n.currant@griffith.edu.au or by mail:  Andrew & Tash Currant, PO Box 190, ORMEAU  QLD  4208 .
